72/365: GO Train.

On the way home, I drove around a few places to see if something would “leap out in front of my camera” as the idea well was a bit dry today. I had a combination of a light mist and dwindling light levels that was causing me to avoid a number of photo chances. Eventually I arrived at the Heritage Road rail crossing so I decided I would take a photo of the tracks disappearing into the fog. No sooner did I park the car than the crossing arms activated signalling an approaching train. This is when I’m glad I reset my camera settings to a known “start” position after each use. I had just a few seconds to run into position and frame the approaching train. I appreciated the mist now, as it showed the beams from the train’s headlights.
