13/365: No Hockey Here.

This was a rather interesting thing to see on the drainage pond at Dominion Gardens today. The pond is surrounded by “No Skating” signs – permanent ones – yet we counted at least 7 abandoned hockey pucks on the melting ice. Who ever has been playing hockey here on the thin ice did remember to pull the net off the ice. It has been well up into the mid teens here temperature wise so that ice wouldn’t hold a drink up right now, never mind a hockey player.
