64/365 : Silhouettes in the Sky.
I was in Burlington with Kristen and as I was pondering where to direct the car on the way home to find a subject for today’s photo, Kristen suggests we go for a walk on our favourite trail down by the Lake…. namely the Hamilton Beach Trail. You would think a beach holds a lot less attraction in the depths of winter and you would be wrong. I immediately sensed both a great photo opportunity (beach!) and a romantic walk with my wife. Looking at the picture above, you may be wondering what happened. Well, we went for that walk, and enjoyed it. The picture is that serendipity that life throws your way. I pulled into a parking lot near the Burlington Skyway Bridge and put the car in park. Took a sip from my coffee and saw something interesting in that thing we refer to as the rear view mirror. It was quite the large scaffolding conglomeration as they are working on that Skyway bridge it seems. With the sun setting behind it what I saw trumped anything I later saw on the beach. I enjoy looking for patterns and lines and here was quite the dramatic display of both.
