79/365 : Eugenia Falls.

Today’s project was to visit, and hike around Hogg’s Falls in Grey County. I didn’t actually make it to that waterfall. Nope, instead I parked at Eugenia Falls Conservation Area and got it into my head to see if I could get a photo from the bottom of the waterfall instead of the usual viewpoint from the top. Turns out, you can get there. It just takes a bit lot of work. All you gotta do is follow the Bruce Trail downstream and when it goes left you sorta go right. There’s a trail that follows along the cliff edge at the bottom but it’s still gonna take effort if you, like me, haul down a digital SLR, some lenses and a good heavy duty tripod. Anyway, I made it and by the time I was done shooting my photos I had no particular urge to visit Hogg’s Falls anymore. Nope, at this point I was thinking of two words: Iced Coffee.
