274/365: The Vault.

One bonus of staying out all night with the camera – I can take two photos of the day for my Project. My “day” is defined as midnight to midnight, and I was out until 6AM with the camera tonight, and while I go every year, this year had one difference. I carried a tripod and with my D800 I didn’t have to resort to using it even once. This is a photograph taken at one of the City Hall installations, “The Vault” which was part of the “Museum for the end of the world”. It’s a photograph placed at the bottom of a reflective tube which is then backlit. Makes for a really neat effect that I’ll likely try to replicate myself later.
