294/365: Winter is Coming

Enjoyed a 30km hike with geocaching friends today. The hike followed the Bruce Trail from Hogg’s Falls in Grey County to the John Muir Lookout, that looks over the Beaver Valley. This photo is from about half way or so, where there is a clear view over the valley to Eugenia Falls. Most of the tree canopy has blown away from the autumn storms but there’s still some yellow and orange here in the valley. This bare tree reminds us that after autumn, winter will soon follow.
