298/365: Crossings.

I love a foggy night. Well, I love fog in general – it’s photogenic magic for us photography types. I made a beeline to a spot where I could use the fog in a photo. Enter my favourite little railway crossing at Heritage Road in Brampton. My aim was a vanishing point photo with the rails leading into the fog. I got a couple good photos of that, sure. As I was packing up I heard the distant sound of a locomotive’s warning. I set up and waited for the train to arrive. This was one of my favourite shots tonight, and it’s literally a setup test shot for framing…. the cars that drove through tossed out the test value for exposure but I’m not complaining.
