335/365: Mt. Katahdin.

Today I took a bit of a flight from Toronto to Moncton. Looking out the window as the plane passed over Quebec, then Maine it was clear winter arrives earlier in some places than others. Here is a view of a place on my bucket list for backcountry travel, this is Maine’s highest peak, at 5,270 feet Mount Katahdin clearly has enough snow on it to be an impressive sight. One day I’ll get here, or at least paddle the river with the same name that leads here.
