A view of our campsite on Lila Lake in Adirondack State Park, with a starry sky and we lit up the tents inside again. This is on campsite #20… which I’m told is the best one on the lake. This is a single exposure – a RAW image so no compositing required.

Another view from Campsite #20 on Lake Lila, in New York State’s Adirondack Park. This is looking south toward Albany – not sure if the light pollution here is Albany or moonrise. There’s a boat load of airplane traffic running the NYC-CHI/YYZ corridor evident along the horizon.

The rain finally broke and the stars start to come out as we camp on Rock Pond in Adirondack State Park, New York. The glow is from the moonrise.
