Here’s an image of me reading my Kindle at my campsite on Low’s Lake in New York’s Adirondack State Park. I’m inside my tent with a small light clipped to the roof while the Milky Way shows through the trees between me and the lake. I was camped on Site #12 if you’d like to visit the location.

This tree in Halton Hills is covered in bicycles as a charity fund raiser. Makes for quite the view when you come around the corner!

I spent the weekend canoeing and camping in Killarney Provincial Park. This is one of my favourite places in the world. On this trip, the goal was to camp and fish on Threenarrows Lake in the interior of the park. This meant portaging 3km over one mountain, and returning on a 1.2km portage over a higher mountain. This night was the only one on the trip that provided a clear night sky so we popped some flashlights on inside the tents. Here’s the result.

St. Elias Church, which I have photographed a few times, was destroyed by a fire earlier this month. The structure was a Brampton landmark, a beautiful wooden structure that dominated the landscape. This is all that remains of the Church now after a fire that started in the basement of the building.

Spring is here in Halton. This is the boardwalk between Crawford Lake and Rattlesnake Point/Kelso. The boardwalk is located at the bottom of Nassagaweya Canyon, that divides the Escarpment here.

I love weathered old wooden fences like this. This one was spotted along the property boundary of Hockley Valley Provincial Nature Reserve near Orangeville.

The snow clings to the landscape from the Tom East side trail in Hockley Valley Provincial Nature Reserve. New spring growth can be seen where the snow has receded on the valley floor.
