274/365: 404 Found.

Another cool web developer type vintage sign. This is along my running route on the Etobicoke Creek Trail. It marks a gate in the fence at Pearson International Airport that used to be restricted before they put the trail through. There’s a newer sign to the left but they never took down the old sign. I also got a picture of the 403 and 402B signs nearby.

272/365: Waterfall on Sherborne Lake Portage.

To get to Sherborne Lake from St. Nora Lake, one must portage around this. Of course, in autumn one does not simply walk past a beautiful waterfall on a portage. Both plunges are the same waterfall, it splits at the top.

271/365: Good Morning, Sherborne Lake.

Reflections of autumn’s splendor as the mist clears on Sherborne Lake. This was what I was looking at first thing in the morning from site 24, before we paddled over to Little Hawk Lake and back for the day’s entertainment.

270/365: Camping on Sherborne Lake.

We got rained out in the spring, so this weekend we made another attempt on visiting Nunikani Lake. This photo is from our campsite on Sherborne Lake, on the first night. The canoes are painted in with flashlights.

268/365: The Monarch will be Crowned.

Playing with my iPhone 5s and I deployed the rapidfire shutter on this helpful little monarch butterfly. It’s pretty neat going back through the burst and see the different stages of flapping it’s wings and putting it’s legs out to land on this flower. Now, I just need to work on composition a bit more when bursting.
