A flock of local birds lift off some tree branches in the southern part of Georgetown, Ontario. The colour in the sky comes from the light of sunset against a departing thunderstorm.

I’ve taken a few photographs of this shed for this project a few times. It’s located on the edge of urbanized Mississauga/Brampton. No more! The bulldozers arrived a couple weeks ago and this shed’s time is limited. The signs indicate the shed will make way for "one prestige industrial building". One more piece of the rural fabric gives way to Greater Toronto’s urban expansion.

Looking east over the glacial kame hills that surround the kettle lakes at Forks of the Credit Provincial Park. Lots of wonderful hiking opportunities abound here.

Finally back home where my cats were waiting. Here, Mocha is being a troublemaker by sleeping in Latté’s spot. Apparently it’s a good sleeping spot because she’s not entirely awake here ….

The view from our mooring point on Pigeon Lake. We tucked the houseboat in behind Big Island at the north end of the lake and a couple of us wandered off the boat to setup our tripods for the wonderful night sky. I’m deliberately including the glow from Peterborough here to give the island’s trees some definition against the starry sky.
